About me
Hi, I’m Debbie. In November 2023, I decided to take a leap of faith and leave my career in the corporate world. It wasn’t a decision I made lightly, there was definitely a little trepidation, but I’ve always believed that if you put your heart and soul into something, you can make it happen. I achieved what I set out to do in my corporate career, and now I’m giving that same dedication to my lifelong passion: art.
I’m a wildlife and nature artist creating detailed, expressive artwork that celebrates animals and the beauty of everyday life. My work captures rare, character-filled moments, from the gentle elegance of a giraffe to the quirky charm of a zebra, and the quiet magic found in coastal, urban, and countryside landscapes.
Each piece reflects my love of the natural world and my passion for coloured pencil and mixed media art, crafted with care to bring life, texture, and personality to every scene.
My mission is simple
To create art that brings joy. Whether it sparks a smile or a moment of calm, my goal is to craft artwork that adds warmth, connection, and natural beauty to your home or living space.
Each piece is created with care and attention to detail, inspired by my love of animals, wildlife, and the natural world. Working primarily in coloured pencil and mixed media, I strive to capture the charm, character, and emotion that make each subject unique.

My process
My creative process begins with careful observation, photography, and sketching, each step helping me explore ideas, composition, and character. From there, I bring each concept to life entirely by hand, choosing the medium, whether coloured pencil, watercolour, or mixed media, that best captures the subject’s texture, depth, and emotion.
Every original artwork is created with care in my studio, reflecting my passion for wildlife, animals, and the natural world. The results mean I can offer art collectors and customers a selection of high-quality prints, including limited editions, as well as original pieces, each created with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Studio Assistant
Meet my studio assistant Rolo...
Rolo is a happy little soul who is always in the studio with me. He keeps me company and adds a bit of playful energy to the day. He keeps an eye on everything, reminds me to take breaks, including to eat or go for a walk. His assistance makes every creative session a little brighter. Although he can be camera shy, if there is a treat involved he will sometimes participate in some of my updates on Instagram.
